Carcass’s Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment demo  is pure grinding sickness — raw, filthy, and totally chaotic. Recorded by the original lineup of this tape spewed out savage gore-soaked riffs, blastbeats, and disgusting, medical-dictionary lyrics. The lo-fi noise assault captured the rotten spirit of the late '80s UK underground perfectly. "Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment" later made it onto Reek of Putrefaction (1988), but the demo version remains a gnarlier, more primitive slab of pure goregrind history
