Featuring artwork inspired by the legendary pre-Entombed era, this design captures the raw and decaying atmosphere that surrounded the underground tape-trading scene during the late 1980s when Nihilist helped forge the sound that would become synonymous with Swedish death metal.

Long before Entombed emerged, Nihilist created some of the most influential demo recordings in extreme metal history, built around chainsaw guitar tones, primitive aggression, and the unmistakable HM-2 distortion that defined an entire movement. The ghost-inspired artwork reflects the bleak and morbid spirit of those early demos — chaotic rehearsal rooms, underground cassette culture, and the cold heaviness that spread from Stockholm across the global death metal underground.
