The Last Suppuration is the debut full-length album from Indiana death metal band Protrusion. Rooted in the savage spirit of early 1990s death metal, the album blends classic death metal with the emerging brutality that helped define the genre's evolution during the mid-90s.

Drawing influence from underground classics such as Mortal Decay, Demilich, early Gorguts, Suffocation, and Broken Hope, Protrusion captures an era when death metal was driven by experimentation rather than convention. Complex riffs, unorthodox songwriting, crushing heaviness, and relentless aggression combine to recreate the raw, unpredictable sound that made the underground scene so influential.
